RIVERSIDE DESIGN

Established by Michele Rudolph, LEED AP in 1990, Riverside Design has for over twenty five years created wide ranging work known for sophisticated design, innovative detail, and meeting budget. Riverside Design’s unique studio structure assures our clients of Michele Rudolph’s unwavering attention to all aspects of a project. Associate Marc Vandenhoeck’s extensive experience in the construction and real estate industries adds a vast and comprehensive body of knowledge to Michele’s architectural design work.

My practice searches to develop a design vocabulary built upon our client’s goals, context, regional materials, sustainability, and cost considerations. We welcome a collaborative process that is focused on our clients and the creative work they give us the opportunity to build. Many of our clients are repeat clients, the strongest recommendation any firm can boast.

MICHELE RUDOLPH

Michele Rudolph, AIA, LEED AP earned a Bachelor of Architecture and Master of Architecture from Tulane University where she was awarded the Goldstein Prize. She has been practicing architecture for more than thirty years, and has headed her own firm for over twenty. Her interest in Art History and Studio Art has led her to study over the years at the San Francisco Center for Architecture and Urban Studies, The Arts Students League, and Silvermine Guild Arts Center. A member of the AIA, and Architectural League, Michele serves as Chairperson of the Pound Ridge Planning Board. She is registered in NY, and CT.

Michele’s early career was dedicated to redesigning Manhattan’s skyline in the New York offices of luminary architects Helmut Jahn, Eli Attia, and Der Scutt. She was a member of a small studio of architects responsible for transforming New York City in the 1980’s. In 1990 Michele decided to open her own practice in order to further explore her favorite themes of light and shadow, innovative use of materials, vernacular language, and the joy of collaborating with clients and artisans.
